Last Chance for Cyber Monday Gaming Deals: PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2 Savings End Today

Don’t miss out on significant discounts on consoles and games as retailers prepare to revert to standard pricing following Cyber Monday, December 1, 2025.

The clock is ticking for gamers hoping to snag a bargain, as Cyber Monday sales – following a flurry of Black Friday discounts – are rapidly drawing to a close. According to reports, most retailers will conclude their promotional pricing by the end of today, meaning prospective buyers have limited time to secure deals on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, as well as a wide range of games.

PlayStation 5 Deals: Digital and Pro Options Available

The most compelling offers currently center around the PlayStation 5. The digital edition console, lacking a disc drive, is available for £289 at both Very and Currys, representing a slight advantage over Argos’ price of £289.99.

Gamers can also bundle the digital edition with EA Sports FC 26 for the same price of £289.99, effectively receiving the game at no additional cost. A similar bundle is available for the standard PlayStation 5 with a disc drive, priced at £379.99 with the popular football simulation.

For those seeking the most powerful PlayStation experience, the PS5 Pro is discounted by £130, bringing the price down to £565 on EE.

Xbox Series X/S: Discounts Emerging, But PlayStation Offers More Value

While Microsoft’s Black Friday offerings haven’t been as aggressive as Sony’s, some discounts have emerged on the Xbox Series S. A 512GB Xbox Series S is available for £269 at Very and Amazon, a reduction of £31. The 1TB version is discounted by £20, selling for £329.99 at Argos.

The Xbox Series X is available for £469.99 at both Amazon and Argos, representing a £30 discount. However, one analyst noted that the PlayStation 5 deals currently offer significantly better value for money.

Nintendo Switch 2: Mario Kart Bundle Remains a Top Pick

The best deal for the Nintendo Switch 2 remains the Mario Kart World bundle at Costco, listed at £429.99 but reduced to £374.99 after an automatic £50 deduction at checkout. While currently listed as sold out, stock is reportedly replenished periodically, encouraging interested buyers to check back frequently.

Argos also offers the Mario Kart World bundle for £399.99, or the console on its own for £385.99. A bundle featuring Pokémon Legends: Z-A is available for £405.99, effectively offering the game for just £20.

Game Deals: PlayStation 5 Titles Lead the Way

The most substantial discounts are currently found on PlayStation 5 games. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is £23 off, despite being released only a few months ago. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of this year’s biggest releases, is available for £25.

Other notable PlayStation 5 game deals include Stellar Blade at £37 and Astro Bot at £33.99. While Xbox game discounts are less prominent, savings can be found on Switch 2 titles like Split Fiction and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut.

With the deadline looming, gamers are urged to act quickly to capitalize on these Cyber Monday deals before prices return to normal in the lead-up to Christmas.
