Danny Avdia visited the New York Knicks’ Madison Square Garden tonight (between Thursday and Friday) and scored in double figures for the seventh time in a row – for the first time in his NBA career.
Avdia continued his encouraging ability when he reached 10 points in the third quarter and thus broke his previous record of six consecutive games in double figures. Wizards reporter Chase Hughes was impressed when he tweeted during the game in New York: “Abadiah plays with confidence and without hesitation.”
Despite the improvement from season to season, the Israeli set the previous record somewhere in the middle of his second season in the league. In February 2022, Avdia recorded six consecutive games with 10+ points, but in none of them did he cross the 14-point mark and throughout the streak he had only 11 assists in the aggregate, a figure that indicates that he was a much less versatile player two years ago.
