Prior to the press conference, the municipal mayor, Maximiliano Wesner, welcomed tournament representatives and presented a gift to Delbonis.

Delbonis highlighted the significance of the M15, often referred to as “Futures” tournaments, as the initial stage in a player’s professional career. “We find boys giving their frist brushes and matches in professionalism, they are very nice tournaments to see, it is where the career of many boys begins,” Delbonis explained. He further underscored the importance of these events in nurturing and expanding Argentine tennis.
Bernardo Palacios, a key organizer, noted this marks the fifth edition of a tournament of this nature in Olavarría. He believes the event has already attracted players who have gone on to achieve global success,stating,”That is what attracts people the most,the players that we have in our city today will surely be on television tomorrow.” He encouraged the community to capitalize on this opportunity to witness emerging talent.

Juan Ignacio Vecchi, president of the Federation of Tennis Clubs of the Center of the Province of Buenos aires, affirmed the Federation’s commitment to supporting clubs and leaders within the sport. “Our mission is to accompany this stunning sport that is tennis, from its beginnings, its training, to the kids who are starting out,” Vecchi stated. The Federation’s role, as part of the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT), is to provide crucial support for events like the M15.
