Achievement for Ashdod swimmer Dennis Laktov, who together with the Israeli 4 * 100 relay team broke the Israeli record at the World Championships in Budapest
Dennis Loktev from Ashdod together with the Israeli swimming team broke the record in the 4x100m freestyle. Laktov and his teammates set 3: 15.35 minutes, an improvement of 2.5 seconds to the previous record. They did so at the World Swimming Championships which kicked off on Saturday in Budapest.
The men’s quartet with Tomer Frenkel, Gal Cohen Gromi, Dennis Loktev and Meron Heruti broke the Israeli record and set a time of 3: 15.35 minutes, an improvement of 2.5 seconds to the record set by the quartet a year ago at the European Championships that gave them ninth place overall.
