After leaving Maccabi Haifa on loan to the Emirates, from the bottom of the league from the United Arab Emirates, Dia Saba will start a new chapter in his career on Saturday at 15:30. “Already in the summer the club’s management called me and we were in constant contact, but we did not come to an agreement, we spoke again in the winter and then I saw that this was an opportunity for a big challenge for me and I agreed,” he said. “This step is not easy, the situation is difficult and there is a lot of work, but this is football. As I said before, it will be a very challenging period, but I have a lot of confidence in myself and together with the club, the coach and the players we will be able to meet the task.”
Saba was excited about the collaboration with Iniesta: “This is something I will tell my grandchildren, I am very happy to play with a player of this caliber in the same team, he is a tremendous addition. It’s a dream for any player, his presence is very influential because he’s a great player. I’m a fan of his, I’m a die-hard Barcelona fan and he’s one of my favorite players. With God’s help, my relationship with him will be good on and off the field.”
“I promise to give one hundred percent of myself, I appreciate the belief in me and we as a team have a big mission and that is why I came here”, he continued. “We are confident in our success in meeting the task and Emirates will continue to play in the first league.
