Gustavo Bolívar, director of Social Prosperity, and Luis Carlos Reyes, director of the DIAN, announced an alliance valued at 500,000 million pesos.

Bolívar explained that the DIAN will deliver a large part of the seized merchandise, and Social Prosperity will use its logistics to take these products to municipalities and cities, where they will be delivered to citizens. He emphasized that, The more reports of smuggling there are, the more goods will reach the hands of citizens.

For his part, the director of the DIAN highlighted that more than half a billion pesos in seized merchandise It will be used as donations for citizens of cities such as Buenaventura, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Ipiales and other border areas.. This initiative seeks to support communities that actively contribute to the fight against smuggling.

Social Prosperity, through its Directorate of Management and Articulation of Social Offer, will be in charge of managing donations to public and private entities. During the year 2023, the entity managed to manage donations valued at nearly 29,070 million pesos, benefiting 66,427 people in situations of poverty and vulnerability.
