A group of 14 Cuban rafters was rescued by police officers Border Patrol of the United States, as reported by that institution this Friday.

Samuel Brigsss II, Acting Chief of the United States Border Patrol in the Miami sector, stated that the Antilleans arrived at the Dry Tortugas National Park, at the time they were rescued.

Likewise, the agent published an image of the rustic boat in which the Cuban rafters who escaped Castro’s misery sailed in order to reach lands of freedom.

“These trips aboard homemade boats in rough seas are dangerous and potentially deadly,” the Border Patrol agent warned about the risk that Cubans run when jumping into the sea in homemade boats.
