New Delhi – Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya said that Omicron strain is spreading in the country and due to this the number of people seeking treatment in the hospital has not increased. He informed that there is no situation to be worried and it is sufficient to continue vigilance.

The health minister’s statement comes in the context of increasing number of covid cases in the country for the past few days. 3641 Covid cases were reported in the country on Monday alone. On April 1, 2,994 people were affected by the disease, and on April 2, it increased to 3,824. It fell slightly to 3,641 for the third quarter. Monday’s positivity rate is 61.12 percent. The weekly positivity rate is 2.45 percent.

1,800 people have recovered within 24 hours. With this, the total number of people who have recovered from the disease in the country has reached 4,41,75,135. Currently 20,219 people are undergoing treatment.
