On the sidelines of its 2023-2024 administrative year, ENAM organized its third session of major conferences this Thursday, November 9, 2023 in Ouagadougou. The title of the theme is “Diplomatic engagement: between conquest of state sovereignty and geopolitical achievement”. The objective is to remove ambiguities about the diplomatic choices of States seeking sovereignty.

According to the Director General of the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) Dr. Jacob Yarabatioula, major conferences are a window for enarques, teachers and researchers to discuss current issues without evasiveness. It therefore aims to give learners the necessary basics to be seasoned in their professional life.
« The major ENAM conferences are a concept which should lead students to learn differently and to regularly question the major issues of our nation. If you have to go and serve this country wherever you are, if you are not imbued with certain issues how you are going to be very effective.

For this third issue, it was a question of raising the debate around the issue of sovereignty and geopolitics, hence the theme “Diplomatic engagement: between conquest of sovereignty of States and geopolitical achievement”.

Claiming to be of the old school, Alain Edouard Traoré noted that the greatness of the diplomat is recognized by his ability to listen.
