Palakkad: An elderly man was beaten to death by his neighbors at Alathur boat dock. Thonipadam Ambattuparambu Baputti (63) was beaten to death by his neighbor Abdurahman and his two sons. The incident took place on Friday night.
Police said the dispute over the drainage of the barn led to the murder. Abdurrahman had earlier beaten Baputti for this. He was arrested in this case and was recently released on bail.
Meanwhile, a local woman was found murdered in Chorakkad, Palakkad. The body was found near the roadside in Chorakkad. He was beheaded and killed. Police said they were still searching for the man who was with them.
