DMK in Shivalagi near Eral. And the district level electronic kabaddi competition jointly organized by the Shivs Phaluk Pada Kabaddi team was held at Shivs Barumpi. South District Deputy Secretary Advocate Arumugaperumal presided over the inauguration ceremony. Fisheries, Fishermen Welfare and Animal Husbandry Minister Anitha Radhakrishnan inaugurated the tournament.
This was followed by competitions. A total of 60 teams participated and played. 20,000 rupees were awarded to the Shivla flying team who won the first place, Rs.18,000 to the 2nd place Rajpati team, and Rs.15,000 to the 3rd place Shivalur team and trophies. Prizes and trophies were awarded to the top 9 teams. In this program DMK Umari Shankar, Deputy Secretary of the State Student Union, District Council President Arunachalam, District Youth Deputy Organizer Balamurugan and many others participated.
