Pizza Hut’s ‘Goodbye Pies’ campaign in the US sends a free ‘Hot Honey’ pizza to the address of the person with whom you want to end a relationship

Most products released on Valentine’s Day are meant to celebrate love and friendship. However, some brands decide to break the established and innovate. This is the case of Pizza Hut in the United States with its ‘Goodbye Pies’ campaign. The fast food multinational is thinking about its customers whose relationships are about to end and is launching a product for a good farewell.

The campaign is called “Goodbye Pies” and allows its customers free delivery of a ‘Hot Honey’ pizza to the address of an ex-partner. “Spicy news, sweetly delivered,” reads the web domain made especially for the campaign. They also describe the service. “Breakups are uncomfortable. We can help. Send a free Hot Honey Goodbye Pie from now until Valentine’s Day. And the delivery driver will give you the bad news in the best way.”

On the other hand, the brand points out that the launch is based on the results of a YouGov survey. It reveals that 45% believe it is better to end problematic relationships before February 14. In addition, it is an excellent option to include new items in your menu. Namely, the Hot Honey pizza and Hot Honey wings.

The campaign is available in select locations in New York, Miami and Chicago. However, customers residing outside of those locations can access GoodbyePies.com to request a breakup message. Plus a free gift card to send a Hot Honey pizza to an ex, while supplies last.
