The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location on North Rainbow Place in Benson, where the dog’s owner reported finding “the dog’s body on the ground, and the dog had blood on its paws, nose, and mouth.” She also noted that the animal’s collar was suspended from a bike chain attached to a tree.
