He opened up about his opinion on Maguire in an interview with Football Insider.
“Maguire should go back to Leicester. He will earn at least half of what he got at United at Leicester City. He was a great player there.
So even back there, Maguire might be able to continue his excellence. For some players, the jersey of a big club like Manchester United can be very stressful. Maguire leaving United and heading back to Leicester is no shame.
“If he can’t shine at United, Maguire should go somewhere where he can play better,” said Frank McVaney.
