If you were sitting at home one evening and heard strange noises coming from one of the rooms, you would surely be scared to death. One man who suspected that something was happening in his house, discovered that for three days he was not alone at home.
Davis Wellman was startled when he started hearing noises coming from the roof of his house in Green Lake, Washington, USA. He went up the stairs to the door leading to his attic, but was surprised to find it locked. The homeowner knocked on the door several times, before hearing a woman on the other side: ” Jimmy? Is that you?”, when a minute later she opened up and the two stood face to face as complete strangers, KOMO reported.

Wellman asked the same dark-haired woman: “Who the hell are you? Why are you in my house?”, and she replied: “This is my house, I’ve been living here for three days. Jimmy said I could live here, he told me I could stay here.” The owner of the house called 911 and tried to delay the intruder until the police arrived. According to him, it took the teams over 20 minutes to arrive and by then the woman had fled his house.
He claimed that he appreciates the work of the officers, but was disappointed by the delay. The crews themselves gave a slightly different version than Wellman’s, when according to a Seattle police spokesman, the man called 911 at 9:01 p.m. and a cell phone was dispatched to his home at 9:07 p.m. According to the spokesman, at 21:03 Wellman had already announced that the suspect had disappeared.
The homeowner said he had no idea how the stranger got into his home, even though the bathroom window was open, a detail he noticed later. Wellman also revealed that nothing was stolen and everything was left in its place. Since the appearance of the woman, he has changed all the locks on the doors of the house, and the suspect has not been located since then. The local police are continuing the investigation.
