Edmilson Nunes dos Santos, 50 years old, driver of a Fiat Pálio car that collided with a bus late this Tuesday afternoon (15), on the BR-262, between the cities of Miranda and Aquidauana, died when entering the Santa Casa de Campo Grande.
According to the report, Edmilson got stuck between the hardware and was removed by the Fire Department with multiple fractures. He was rescued in serious condition, could not resist the injuries and died at 22:53 yesterday.
The accident occurred near the region known as Serrinha, considered dangerous due to the slope of the track. A video captured by a passenger on another bus recorded the wreckage of the accident. In the images, it is possible to observe the team of the Fire Department and the PRF (Federal Highway Police) attending to the occurrence.
The health status of the bus drivers and other passengers has not yet been released.
