The Head of State inaugurated this Saturday morning the agricultural fair, which he will visit at length all day.

President Emmanuel Macron arrived early Saturday morning at the Salon de l’Agriculture in Paris. After the traditional inauguration, he began his wandering which should last more than a dozen hours, intended to take the pulse of rural France and the country. It is this Saturday that the show is open at the same time for the general public.

  • Extension of fuel assistance for fishermen

The President of the Republic began his visit around 7.40 a.m. with a meeting with the fishing sector, at which he announced the extension, until October, of the financial aid granted to fishermen to cope with the rise in the price of fuel and which was due to expire in mid-May, according to what Secretary of State for the Sea Hervé Berville told the press.
