Rugby World Cup Stars to Headline HSBC SVNS Dubai Kickoff

The world’s top rugby players, fresh off performances at the Women’s Rugby World cup 2025, will converge on Dubai this November as the HSBC SVNS Series launches it’s new format.

The 2025 Emirates Dubai 7s, taking place from November 28-30 at The sevens Stadium, marks the beginning of a reimagined HSBC SVNS Series coinciding with the UAE National Day holiday weekend. The series features six regular season events, each with eight women’s and eight men’s teams competing over two days, culminating in three SVNS World Championship Series events to determine world champions. This new structure will see the top 12 men’s and women’s teams – eight from Division 1 and four from Division 2 – battle for the ultimate title.

Women’s Competition Set to Shine

Organizers anticipate teams will be bolstered by talent recently showcased at the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025. Fans can anticipate a thrilling opening day clash between New Zealand and France at 10:58 local time (GMT+4), followed by Australia’s title defense against japan at 11:42. Additional highlights include a match between Fiji and France at 13:59, and a highly anticipated showdown between Australia and Great Britain at 18:11.

Men’s Tournament Features “Pool of Champions”

The men’s tournament is set to ignite with a formidable “pool of champions” in Pool A,comprised of Fiji,Argentina,france,and South Africa. The opening round will feature Fiji versus Argentina at 13:10 and South Africa against France at 13:32. The festival’s entertainment lineup is equally impressive, with Tinie Tempah, Sean Paul, and Shaggy scheduled to perform on Saturday, and superstar DJs EZ and FISHER closing out the festival on Sunday.
