Baghdad – IA
Take-off flights were briefly suspended on Thursday from Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airports in Paris due to a technical malfunction, as announced by the General Directorate of the Civil Aviation Authority.

A spokeswoman for the directorate said in press statements that this technical malfunction, which lasted “20 to 30 minutes,” affected “the system that manages flight schedules.” The fault was repaired at approximately 11:30.
This malfunction affected the in-flight air navigation center – North Ates Mons (Essonne, south of Paris) which manages the flights in the air and is therefore not in the landing or take-off phase.
But the malfunction affected “all Parisian airports,” where takeoffs “stopped.” The General Directorate of Civil Aviation Authority said that landing operations were “not affected” during the holiday.
Even if air traffic was not heavy when the holiday occurred, this led to flight delays, according to the European “Eurocontrol” authority, whose map on Thursday morning showed delays of more than 45 minutes over a large part of the northern half of France, with the exception of Brittany and Alsace-Lorraine.
