by time news

The Mayor of Kiryat Bialik Eli Dukorski will submit to the Municipal Naming and Commemoration Committee a proposal to name the new park in the Neot Afek neighborhood “Zvika Peak Park”.

Dukorsky: “This morning, the singer and composer Zvika Pick, one of the pillars of Israeli music, passed away. My generation grew up on Pick’s songs, including ‘Ma’ale Ma’ale’, ‘Mary Lu’, ‘Love at the end of the summer’, ‘Living with him’, ‘Shir Hafiraha’ ‘, ‘I love you Leah’, ‘Av died and Elul died’, ‘There is no country for love’ and many more. Five years ago Zvika Pick appeared at the 8th Bialik Festival of Poetry and Literature and thrilled the crowd with his hits. The crowd came down from the stands to the front of the stage and danced to his songs I intend to propose to the Municipal Naming and Commemoration Committee to name one of the new parks in the Neat Afek neighborhood after the maestro.”
