Earlier in the evening, he had chosen to cover Charles Aznavour’s cult song “La Bohème”, for his opening performance. The young boy then performed Edith Piaf’s “Hymn to Love” alongside Chimène Badi. The singer praised her on set: “Durel, he has a unique voice and authenticity. He’s a real performer. He overwhelmed me.” His coach also recognized the very good performance of his talent by confiding that he reminded him “why we make music. It feels good, it reminds us that we are alive. I wish you from the bottom from my heart that you continue to give light because you are made for it”.
On social networks, the trend was already giving Durel the winner. Numerous tweets echoed the boy’s performances throughout the evening.
