Dysnomia Live: A Sensory Performance Blending Music, Visuals, and Live Art
A unique multimedia experience, Dysnomia Live, is set to captivate audiences with its innovative fusion of music, photography, and live painting. The performance, inspired by the book Dysnomia, promises a dynamic and ephemeral journey through time and matter, from the universe’s origins to modern society.
The core of Dysnomia Live lies in the collaborative synergy between Thomas Julienne, a double bassist and composer, and Alexandre Dupeyron, a photographer. Each performance is designed to be distinct, with musicians interacting in real-time with Dupeyron’s visual projections, creating a responsive interplay between sound and image.
A Multi-Disciplinary Artistic Convergence
This special edition of Dysnomia Live expands the artistic palette with the addition of street artist Yann Chatelin. Chatelin will contribute live painting using ink and acrylic, enriching the performance with a calligraphic element that complements the existing visual and auditory landscape. The event represents a rare opportunity to witness the convergence of photography, music, and spontaneous creation at Vivres de l’Art.
The performance will feature a diverse ensemble of musicians, including:
- Ellinoa – Chant
- Robin Antunes – Violin
- Jean-Baptiste Loutte – Drums
- Paul Audoynaud – Guitars
- Thomas Julienne – Double bass & composition
Alexandre Dupeyron will handle both photography and Veejaying, further blurring the lines between static and dynamic visuals.
According to a performance release, Dysnomia Live aims to deliver a truly immersive experience, where the boundaries between artistic disciplines dissolve and audiences are invited to explore the interconnectedness of time, matter, and creative expression. The event is poised to be a standout moment in the contemporary arts scene, offering a glimpse into the power of live collaboration and sensory innovation.
