Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club gave Prime Bank Cricket Club a tough target thanks to Saif Hasan’s century. Tamim Iqbal’s team could not make use of Sheikh Jamal’s fielders’ catch miss drills to chase. In the end, he had to leave the field with a loss.
In Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla on Saturday (April 6), Prime Bank Cricket Club lost the toss and went into bat. Sheikh Jamal lost 5 wickets and scored 293 runs without Shakib Al Hasan at the end of the stipulated over. Prime Bank was all out for 219 runs in the chase.
At the end of 9 rounds, Nurul Hasan Sohan’s team reached the second place with 7 wins. Tamim’s position is fourth with 6 wins in even matches. Sheikh Jamal’s centurion Saif won the man of the match award after playing a sparkling innings of 115 runs.
