Precautionary measures are being taken in various states as the distribution of omega in India has started to increase. State governments have imposed night curfews in UP, MP and Assam to curb the spread of the disease. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation last night in the wake of the resurgence of epidemics in India.
He said not to worry about omega-3s, adding that the vaccine will be given to 15-18 year olds from January 3rd. He also said that the booster dose would be paid to field workers from January 10.
In this context, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court NV Ramana, who was addressing a function in Hyderabad, Telangana yesterday, accused some multinational pharmaceutical companies of trying to prevent the Kovacs vaccine found in India from getting World Health Organization approval.
Speaking at the Ramineni Foundation’s Awards Ceremony in Hyderabad, Judge Ramana said, “Bharat Biotech India has developed a vaccine that controls corona and its new strains. Various attempts have been made to prevent Kovacs, a locally developed vaccine, from gaining WHO accreditation.
