According to jpnn.com, Eko Yuli Irawan, a 35-year-old senior ⁣athlete, competed in the men’s ⁣61 kg weightlifting class at the⁤ South Paris⁣ Arena 6 on ‍Wednesday (7/8/2024) evening WIB.

Eko immediately failed at his first attempt in the snatch, failing ‍to lift 135 kg. However,⁢ he later successfully lifted the weight in his second attempt. He then improved⁣ his ‌record to ‌139 kg in his third attempt.

While Eko’s snatch performance was ⁢commendable, he suffered a setback in‍ the clean and jerk section. He appeared to suffer an injury and failed to lift ⁢a weight of 162 kg in his first attempt.

It is worth noting that ⁣Eko’s best lift in the snatch⁤ was 143 kg, which was achieved by ​Chinese lifter Li Fabin.
