An assistant electrical engineer hanged himself due to debt problems.
Sivakarthikeyan (43) was working as an assistant engineer in Kadambarai Power Board next to Valparai. He went on leave for more than a month and returned to work two days ago. Eva, who lived in Minwariya apartment in Kadamparai, did not come to work on Thursday morning. Due to this, when the co-workers went to his residence, it was locked inside.
Suspicious, they broke the door and found that Sivakarthikeyan had committed suicide. Kadambara police recovered the body and sent it to Valparai Government Hospital. The investigation revealed that he committed suicide due to debt problems. He has a wife and two sons.
