Elon Musk continues to sell shares of Tesla

Elon Musk has sold shares worth Rs 54,000 crore in Tesla.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and CEO of Tesla, recently abandoned a deal to buy Twitter. Twitter filed a lawsuit against the decision. Following this, Elon Musk sold $8.5 billion worth of Tesla shares last April.

Currently, Elon Musk has sold $7 billion worth of Tesla shares. This is about 54,000 crore rupees in Indian value. Elon Musk said the sale is to avoid having to sell Tesla shares at a lower price if Twitter is forced to execute a deal to buy the company.

Between August 5 and August 9, he sold more than 79 lakh shares of Tesla. Elon Musk has sold $3.2 billion worth of stock in the last 10 months alone.
