San Francisco: Elon Musk has said that the employees of the X social networking company working in Brazil have been threatened with arrest. He is facing trial in the country’s Supreme Court on charges of spreading fake news and obstructing justice. He said this in this context.

The Brazilian government has reportedly told X to block right-wing accounts on X’s platform. A court order was also issued in this regard. But, it seems that X did not do it. The Brazilian government and Company X did not disclose the details of the accounts that were ordered to be frozen.

The court also said that if the accounts related to site X are not blocked, a fine will be imposed. The order was issued by Judge Alexandre de Moraes. In this case, Musk has severely criticized Judge De Moraes. He has made some accusations saying that he should resign.

“Judge De Moraes had ordered to freeze the accounts of some X site users. The tweets posted on those accounts continued to raise questions about corruption. He said that those accounts were involved in X-site service-related traffic violations and that they should be disabled. We operate in compliance with all national laws. We do the same in situations where we don’t agree with it.

X employees currently working in Brazil should be taken to a safe place. Because they are under threat of arrest. We are in a position to shut down our operations in Brazil. There will also be loss of revenue. But policy is more important than profit. In this case, it has been reported that Musk has decided to abandon the Starlink contract.
