The owner of X (Twitter), Elon Musk, has announced that the platform will show the headlines of the published links againinstead of continuing to show only the main image, a change it introduced a few weeks ago.

Previously, when publishing an article with a link on the social network, the main image of the news was displayed and, below it, the headline with the first lines of the intro, which provided users with context about its content.

However, Musk announced in August that he intended to clean up this format by eliminating both the headline and the first lines of the news from the publication, with the aim of improving the aesthetics of the feed.

In early October, the old Twitter began removing headlines from links to articles and news from posts to show only their main image, which serves as a link to the news.

However, Musk has now indicated that he will revert this change with an upcoming platform update and will overlay the title on top of the image of shared links.

For now, He has not commented when he will activate this new version of X nor if it will be a modification that affects both the web version and the applications for iOS and Android.
