A date to remember. And for good reason ! From May 3rd to 6th, it is the mythical place known worldwide “Jamaa El Fna” or that of “November 16” which will be called to vibrate, and with them, all the enthusiasts of the soil or visitors from around the world, to the rhythm of the 6th edition of the Gnaoua Show Festival. An event that is all the more eagerly awaited in that it aims to bring together renowned troupes led by notorious mâalems who have marked a genre of music that is an integral part of our cultural heritage, as recently recalled on the columns of “Libé” by the Professor Mohamed Knidri. “The Gnaoua Show defends the artistic cultural identity of our territory and participates in the cultural influence of our country without forgetting the tourist attraction and the resources of the creative economy that it generates”, said in substance the president of the Grand Atlas Association (AGA). The Ocher City can be rightly proud of this other great event to the credit of the AGA, perfectly inspired by associating its efforts with those of the Hmiti Association for culture and artistic creation, the Gnaoua Show being basically a specific project of Hmiti father and son.
