There is a huge iron gate at the entrance to the dangerous garden. Above the big iron gates, there is an arched board with the words “The Poison Garden” written in English. The 2 iron gates, right and left, have the skull and crossbones symbol. And there is a warning message in English that says, “These plants can kill you.”

They also explicitly warn visitors not to sniff the plants or flowers in this poisonous garden. The garden’s official website states that visitors are not allowed to smell, taste or touch any of the plants inside. Despite the warning, some people become intoxicated by consuming poisonous plants or flowers in the garden out of curiosity.

According to the authorities who manage this poison garden, nearly 6,00,000 people visit it annually, and mention that only guided visitors are allowed to tour the poison garden.
