Actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko, who were on the International Space Station (ISS), filmed 120% of the shooting plan for the film “Challenge”, said the general director of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst. According to him, the picture turned out to be “amazingly cinematic” and the audience will see the film within a year.

“We are insanely happy that everything ended so successfully that the guys filmed not even 100%, but 120% of the shooting plan, that they feel brilliant. And Yulia just told me that “it’s a pity that I had to come back so quickly,” Mr. Ernst said on the air of Channel One.

The film crew, consisting of Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko, as well as cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, arrived on the ISS on October 5. On the morning of October 17, the film crew of the film “Challenge” with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky landed on the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft. The film crew was the first in the world to shoot a film in space.
