Erode / Chennai: Periyar’s great-grandson, EVKS Elangovan’s son and Congress MLA from Erode East Thirumakan Evera died of a heart attack.

Thirumakan Eevera, who served as the General Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, has a wife and a daughter. His brother Sanjay lives in Chennai.
