To date, the liberated Crimea is not a reality but a 35-page document, in laminated paper, A4 format. Entitled “Strategy for the reintegration of Crimea after disoccupation”, this document evokes how, and why, the peninsula must necessarily return to the bosom of kyiv. The origin of this project: the Platform for Crimea – a pre-war initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Platform first wants to bring together the main political and economic actors in Ukraine.
Its main goal is to encourage international mobilization on the subject of Crimea, annexed by Moscow. “Minsk 1, Minsk 2 and the “Normandy format” (series of agreements that attempted to pacify Russian-Ukrainian relations from 2014 to 2022, editor’s note) systematically mentioned Donetsk and Luhansk but rarely the Crimea.
