The success of the first installment ofEscape room it is unquestionable and surely a weighty argument to relapse. Here it is necessary to add the demand of the public, according to Joel Joan and Hèctor Claramunt, architects of the issue. They couldn’t resist it, of course. But the second times – we won’t call it a sequel – have the danger of repeating a scheme without contributing almost anything new, to the point that, at the risk of falling into the spoiler, we will say that you don’t need to be a fortune teller to find out who is responsible of the dangerous game that the two protagonist couples face, again.
This Escape room 2 it makes up for the lack of consistency of the gags with a shocking scenography (Enric Planas) and magic tricks, in a text that revisits the same themes that reared their heads in the first installment.
