Before the Eurovision in Liverpool: The traditional competition promotion, the “Israel calling”, is expected to take place tomorrow (Monday) at Hangar 11 in Tel Aviv. Representatives from 20 countries are expected to take part in the event, who will compete in the prestigious competition, and even perform the songs with which they will perform.
Ahead of the festive event, the competition participants gathered this evening at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, for the opening event. The class was attended by, among others, the Israeli representative Noa Kirel, the Minister of Culture and Sports Miki Zohar and the ambassadors of the various countries.
“I am happy that the Ministry of Culture and Sports, under my leadership, took part for the first time in the initiative to host the Eurovision artists in Israel, an event that is the opening chord for Eurovision 2023 which will be held in Great Britain. I wish our Noa Kirel great success in the competition,” said the Minister of Culture and Sports. Among the delegations that came to the event, you can find, among others, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Malta, Ireland, Serbia and Poland.
