During a conversation with Kevin Ryder at the KROQ Almost Acoustic christmas 2025 event in Los Angeles, Lee shared insights into the upcoming record. “Next year, let’s put it that way,” she stated, adding, “There are still a few lyrics to write, but it’s going really well and I’m really excited.”

2025 proved to be a busy year for Evanescence, marked by the release of new singles and high-profile concert appearances. Notably, the band served as the opening act for Metallica during their Australian and New Zealand tour, an experience Lee described as “amazing” and “really, really well” received.
