The largest German newspaper, Bild, reported on what could happen Vladimir Putin Russian president’s plan regarding Ukraine. According to them, he has no intention of stopping the struggle, and in fact, he would continue the war harder and harder in the next three years. By the end of next year, he would conquer all of Donetsk County, taking Kramatorsk, Sloviansk and Liman, which was recaptured by the Ukrainians last fall. And by the end of 2026, it would occupy Kharkiv, Dnipro and the city of Zaporizhzhya, come what may.
According to the plans, Putin is no longer counting on the occupation of Kiev (at least until 2026) and is not counting on being able to cut off the Ukrainians from the Black Sea. Of course, it is a question of how realistic it is to occupy Kharkiv and the other big cities, since the 10,000-strong Avgyijivka has not been occupied since October, despite all the casualties. In any case, the Putins know that huge sacrifices must be made for the realization of the plans, and according to Bild’s sources, they do not regret the loss of 100,000 soldiers per year. The question is whether this will be enough, since more than 300,000 Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine since last February.
