According to Mishustin, the government is introducing additional measures to support domestic enterprises to help them produce the necessary components in order to strengthen technological sovereignty. To do this, a special register of projects will be created that contribute to the structural adaptation of the economy and are aimed at increasing the level of localization and reducing “critical dependence” on suppliers and buyers from unfriendly states, Mishustin said.
According to the government decree, work will be carried out in the following areas: aviation industry, automotive industry, railway engineering, medical industry, oil and gas engineering, agricultural engineering, specialized engineering, machine tool industry, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, electronics and energy.
In the aviation industry, for example, projects will be implemented to create civil and cargo aircraft, drones, spacecraft and satellites. In the medical industry, the creation of pacemakers, prostheses, surgical instruments, ventilators and other equipment is recognized as a priority. In the field of agricultural engineering – the production of domestic combines, tractors and components for them. Projects within the priority areas will be able to count on a “special approach” of banks when approving loans, a lower rate on them and a more active participation of development institutions, Mishustin said.
“This will provide up to 10 trillion in additional funding for the expansion of promising industries, will replace the supply of scarce materials, components and equipment, reorient transport and logistics flows and produce competitive products at domestic enterprises,” he stressed.
