Some people want to get rid of them, others can’t get enough of them: freckles.
What for most people is caused primarily by summer sun rays, is THE beauty trend in winter in the form of artificial freckles, “fake freckles”.
TikToker Twenty4Tim (23), who is currently busy painting fake sprouts on his face with henna cream in the RTL jungle camp, also knows this. Tim took the cream along with a pillow as a luxury item into the Australian bush.
The fake beach girl look comes primarily from the USA. It’s not just women who have been painting the dots on their faces for years if they don’t sprout on their own.
How you can achieve perfect “fake freckles”:
Paint artificial dots
► Twenty4Tim swears by henna cream and sticks, which he uses to conjure up the trendy sprouts on his nose, forehead and cheeks. Henna is a natural plant dye that is traditionally used for temporary tattoos. As a rule, the dots remain visible for about a week. The duration depends on the quality of the henna used, the condition of the skin and the care habits.

► The easiest method for artificial sprouts is certainly to paint the dots with eyeliner or eyeliner. However, the “fake freckles” usually look unnatural and disappear after the first wash.

Score with self-tanner
The German social media star Millane Friesen (20) swears by self-tanner. Simply exfoliate your skin first to remove dead skin cells. Then carefully dab the self-tanner onto the skin using a brush or cosmetic brush.

Then let the self-tanner take effect for up to two hours and small dark spots will adorn your face, which will only gradually fade. If you are unsure, you can also use washable self-tanning mousse.

Sprouts as a tattoo
If you want to enjoy freckles permanently, you can also have them tattooed. These permanent “fake freckles” only fade after years, if at all, and should therefore be carefully considered.

Like a normal tattoo, color pigments are placed under the skin with a needle. You can have this done either with a permanent make-up machine, like lip pigmentation, or manually. Costs: from around 100 euros.
