The 45-year-old, who has been married to Bruce Willis since 2009 and has two children with him, shared a photo of the Hollywood star on Instagram. He is holding a baby and smiling with his eyes closed. Lying in his arms is “the safest place in the whole world,” writes Emma Heming-Willis about the recording. Bruce Willis is “a true gentleman. He has so much love to give and share.”

Her younger sister Scout also reminisces with her birthday post. “It’s amazing that so little has changed, even though so much has changed,” she says, referring to the 69-year-old’s illness. “My father is one of my best friends, perhaps now on a deeper level than ever before, honestly. I appreciate his affection and the great freedom with which he has always loved us.” This deep love for his family “can only be felt, but cannot be put into words.”
