At the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators, farewell to the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Igor Yasulovich began.

The ceremony takes place in the central hall of the theater in almost complete silence, only muffled mourning chants can be heard in the background.

And if people hadn’t crowded at the entrance, and there hadn’t been reinforced police squads and two black funeral service cars in the adjacent lane, no one would have guessed that the Youth Theater and all Russian culture had suffered such a significant loss.

In the line to the coffin, rare whispers are caught. “Outrageous. She came with bare shoulders. And her back. Apparently she didn’t know where she was going.” But what it is about, it is impossible to understand.

The background was replaced by Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. The hall is already half full. The stage is filled with wreaths, there are many of them, but even more flowers are in the hands of fans of the outstanding actor.

Igor Yasulovich passed away at the age of 81. The artist died of kidney failure.
