FAS completed the consideration of the case on violation of the antimonopoly legislation in relation to the mobile operator Tele2 and obliged to return the cost of unreasonably increased tariffs for cellular services to the level applied before the increase. “The antimonopoly authority found that the level of tariff increases was not due to the increase in costs, and found T2 Mobile LLC violated the antimonopoly legislation,” the agency notes. According to him, the company in January this year increased the cost of cellular services for more than 12 million of its subscribers – individuals by an average of 13%. She justified this increase by increasing her costs.

In connection with the increase, the FAS received a large number of calls from the subscribers of the telecom operator. In February, the agency opened an antitrust lawsuit against the company.

Earlier, Kommersant reported that operators continue to raise prices for archived tariffs. In particular, MTS said that the increase in prices will average 30-40 rubles. and will affect less than 1% of tariff plans. Megafon also raised prices for part of archived tariffs in a number of regions. The company noted that it offered subscribers to switch to current tariffs free of charge before the price increase.
