Fatal incident on train tracks in central Älmhult – Man dead in workplace accident

The incident must have occurred on the train track area in central Älmhult.

– A man has died, and the next of kin have been informed, says the on-call preliminary investigation manager in Växjö, Mattias Scherling, at 06.00.

The police do not want to give more details at this time.

The alarm came at 00.23 last night. The police and the emergency services were called to the scene and the man was loaded into the ambulance.
