“Wishes come true” is a joint project between the LIONS CLUB Limburg-Domstadt and the German Red Cross District Association Limburg eV
Seriously and terminally ill people in the Limburg area are offered the opportunity to have long-held heartfelt wishes fulfilled. The wishes are free of charge for these people and must be realizable. Trips, excursions and visits to cultural events or sights are organized. A converted ambulance is used for this purpose. The professional care of the sick is guaranteed by volunteer paramedics from the German Red Cross, Limburg.
Support in the form of donations is important to maintaining this project.
The FC Bayern-Freunde Niedertiefenbach were very impressed by this project and donated an amount of €500. The second chairman of the LIONS CLUB Limburg-Domstadt, Mr. Jung-Diefenbach, came to Niedertiefenbach to hand over the donations on September 16, 2023. He gave further insights into the activities of his association and thanked them very much on behalf of the seriously and terminally ill people.
The donation amount was achieved through the sale of beer, non-alcoholic drinks and pretzels at this year’s traditional carnival parade in Niedertiefenbach.
The FC Bayern-Freunde Niedertiefenbach wish the project continued success and look forward to further participation in the Niedertiefenbach carnival parade next year. (OS)
