The moon of the holy month of Shaban of 1445 Hijri was seen in the sky of the country today. As a result, the holy month of Shaban will start from tomorrow (Monday). On this account, the holy Shabbat will be celebrated on the night of February 25 (Sunday).
The decision was taken at the National Moon Sighting Committee meeting at Baitul Mukarram meeting room on Sunday (February 11) evening. It was presided over by the additional secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. A. Awal Hawladar.
The Additional Secretary told the meeting that according to the information received from all district administrations, Islamic Foundation head office, divisional and district offices, Bangladesh Meteorological Department, Space Research and Remote Sensing Center, the moon of Shaban month of 1445 Hijri was seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Sunday.
