FIFA President Gianni Infantino sent a letter of thanks to FFA President Armen Melikbekyan.
“Dear Mr. President, on behalf of the entire FIFA delegation, I would like to deeply thank you and your entire team for the warm reception during our visit to Armenia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the FFA.
First of all, let me heartily congratulate you on this historic milestone and appreciate all the people who contribute and provide invaluable support to the development of sports in Armenia.
We had many important moments during our visit. The meeting with the RA Prime Minister, Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, the friendly meeting in Tsovagyugh, as well as the gala dinner dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the FFA. These events gave us the opportunity to share our thoughts and vision, as well as to express FIFA’s support for the development of football in your country. Undoubtedly, the project of construction of small fields will greatly contribute to this.
