Zurich: FIFA releases final team rankings for 2021 For the fourth year in a row, Belgium retained the top spot. Despite not winning a single title, Belgium maintained their dominance in the FIFA rankings by overcoming the challenge of Brazil.

Belgium retained the number one spot, beating Brazil by 2.1 points. World champions France are third and England fourth, Copa America champions Argentina fifth and Euro Cup winners Italy sixth. Spain (7), Portugal (8), Denmark (9) and the Netherlands (10) are in the top ten.
