At the same time, Islam strongly warns against many entertainments influencing people uncontrollably and life becoming entertainment. Quoting the Qur’an, Samasta’s note clarifies that the believer’s approach to such entertainment should not be such that it interferes with the performance of prayer.
A believer should not have too much influence or enthusiasm in any matter, the time and money he spends is given by his God. Every moment and every penny will have to be accounted for before God. Therefore, Samasta’s note says that football should not become an addiction.
The note also says that intoxication means not only alcohol and drugs, but also many things that are seen as entertainment and weaken our sense of responsibility. At the same time, star worship is anti-Islamic and tarnishes monotheism. The giant cutouts of football stars are extravagant.
