Troops led by Fire Station Officer Mohanraj distributed leaflets on fire prevention to create awareness about Fire Day in Jayankondam, Ariyalur District. Awareness on fire prevention was distributed and leaflets were distributed to doctors, nurses, patients and hospital visitors, government and private hospitals. They also demonstrated how to use flammable equipment and how to deal with an unexpected fire and prevent further spread of fire.
In Jayangondam, soldiers led by Station Officer (Responsible) Dharmalingam conducted a fire prevention awareness campaign at 4 Road, Virudhachalam Road, Chidambaram Road, Dhaka Palur Road, Trichy Road and Shop Street. This included raising awareness on fire prevention by distributing leaflets to shopkeepers, shopkeepers and the general public.
